Faculty Position in
Finance (Assistant Professor)
The School of Finance
at Nankai University,
Tianjin, China, invites applications for
assistant professor in the fields of Sci-Tech and Finance (including Corporate
Innovation), Pension Finance (including Health Economics), Sustainable Finance,
Digital and Intelligent Finance, International Finance, Risk Management,
Banking, and other interdisciplinary fields. Applicants in other intersecting
fields are also welcomed. We particularly welcome candidates willing to join us
in building a world-class finance school in a leading Chinese university.
Appointment rank
(assistant) will be dependent on qualifications and research history. Qualified
candidates for tenure-track positions must hold a Ph.D. in finance, economics
or related fields conferred by employment start date, have excellent research
and teaching skills, and demonstrate the ability to produce scholarly work at a
high level.
About School of Finance:
The School of Finance
consists of a group of faculty members who obtained their Ph.D. from the
world’s top universities who are actively publishing in the top finance and
economics journals, such as The Review of Financial Studies, Journal of
Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and
Management Science. The group has varied
interests across all areas of theoretical and empirical finance and economics,
including asset pricing, corporate finance, financial econometrics, financial
intermediation, management, accounting, household finance, international
finance, macro-finance, behavioral finance and market microstructure.
